You may have noticed my holiday-time baking has slowed down this year – but it’s for a good reason. It’s because of the latest addition to our family… Baby H was born on November 7 at 2:22 p.m., weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces, and measuring 20 inches long. Unlike his older brother, he arrived after a scheduled C-section. Things are hectic in our household with a toddler and a newborn but we’ll keep churning out yummy treats to blog about! Stay tuned….
When I saw this recipe come across the wires at work from The Associated Press, it had me salivating. By the time the holidays have rolled around, I’ve usually made at least two or three pumpkin-based desserts so I had this high on my “To Do” list despite the fact I was heavily pregnant at the time I made it, and in no mood to tend to any housework. In any case, I figured this would be quick to whip up as it was a one-bowl recipe and I was right. If you’re like me and you always have a can or two of pumpkin puree, this should be a cinch to prepare.
